Ahh, the infamous Prospector Inn. At just
$44/night, thought it was a great deal - until I came away with
bites all over my legs - I think the ol'bed bugs were rampant
here. Additionally, there was blood splattered all over the walls,
the mattress had a huge depression in the centre, where, I'm sure
many an ol' cowboy banged his lady of the night. Unfortunately,
there was no place else to sleep, and I was exhausted from riding
all day. Needless to say, I slept in my clothes, eventually moving
to the floor...

It took approximately 25 miles of mountain
backroad to get there, oscillating between washboard conditions,
gravel and dirt, in 120+ degrees. Then, as you see above, more
dirt road and bugs - lots of 'em...

Had to really watch where I walked - this
is rattle snake country!
